  • To clean your polyester trucker hat with a mesh back, it's best to hand wash it. Start by filling a bowl or sink with warm water and adding a few drops of mild detergent, avoiding bleach or harsh cleaners that could damage the material. Gently scrub any stains with a soft-bristled brush or cloth soaked in the soapy water, being careful around the mesh to prevent stretching or tearing. Rinse the hat thoroughly with cool water to remove any soap residue. After rinsing, reshape the hat by gently adjusting the brim and crown, then allow it to air dry in a shaded area to prevent fading—never use a dryer, as heat can warp the hat’s shape. For freshening between washes, you can lightly spray a fabric refresher on the inner band and let it air dry. Following these steps will help keep your trucker hat looking and smelling fresh.
