Project Directions
  1. Prepare the Tumbler: Clean the surface of the tumbler with a soft cloth to remove any dust, oils, or fingerprints. Make sure it’s completely dry before applying the UV DTF transfer.
  2. Position the Transfer: Carefully peel off the protective backing from the UV DTF transfer. For optimal alignment, place the tumbler in a cup cradle with the design's center positioned in the middle of the cradle. Carefully press the adhesive side of the transfer onto the tumbler, starting at one edge and smoothing it down gradually to avoid air bubbles.
  3. Smooth the Transfer: Once the transfer is in place, use a squeegee to firmly press down on the transfer. Work from the center outward to ensure good adhesion and to eliminate any bubbles.
  4. Remove the Top Layer: After ensuring the transfer has adhered well, carefully peel off the top protective layer. Start from one corner and peel slowly to avoid lifting the design.
  5. Final Touch: Once the transfer is complete, inspect the cup for any lifted edges or imperfections. Use the squeegee to press down any loose edges. Allow the cup to set for a few hours before use to ensure the transfer is fully secure.
  6. Care Instructions: Hand wash the cup gently with mild soap and water. Avoid using a dishwasher, as the high heat and pressure could damage the UV DTF design.
